We are excited to announce the production of two new intellectual properties that are sure to be a favorite for kids and their parents. MiMO Studios will be producing adaptations of The Pout-Pout Fish by Deborah Diesen and The Alien Adventures of Finn Caspian for multiple TV animated specials.

The Pout-Pout Fish Animated Specials

With over 8.5 million copies sold since 2008, it has been recognized on the New York Times Bestseller’s List and as the 2009 Bank Street—Best Children’s Book of the Year.

This line of books follows Mr. Fish and his undersea friends. The original book sees Mr. Fish discover that he doesn’t have to spread the “dreary-wearies all over the place” as his friends try to cheer him up.

MiMO Studios is excited to bring Mr. Fish’s first adventure to the screen in a fully animated special feature. Our adaptation will focus on developing the main characters and teach children how they can turn their “dreary-wearies” upside down.
