MIMO Studios and Like a Photon Creative’s animated adaptation of The Pout-Pout Fish has started production in Australia, with Macmillan Publishers serving as executive producer and financier of the project.

Written by Deborah Diesen and illustrated by Dan Hanna, the beloved book series launched in 2008 and was first published by Macmillan. Pout-Pout Fish was named a New York Times bestseller and Top 10 children’s book by Time magazine and spans more than 40 titles and has sold over 10 million copies in print.
