MEET THE TEAM RICHARD

Richard Parent oversees Business & Legal Affairs for MIMO Studios. He most recently practiced entertainment law as a sole practitioner and has held various roles at firms and studios including intellectual property associate at Irell & Manella in Los Angeles, entertainment law at Sony Pictures Television as Assistant General Counsel, and ITV Studios as Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs,  Senior Vice President of Acquisitions and Business and Legal Affairs for Logo, Vice President and Acting General Counsel at Al Jazeera America, and finally Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs for Peacock Productions and MSNBC Originals, both divisions of NBC Universal.  

He is a member of the California and New York Bars. Richard attended the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts with honors in drama.
