Now in production in Australia under the direction of BAFTA-nominated filmmaker Allison Brownmoore, The Neverending Pillow Fort is adapted from the popular children’s novel by Will Taylor. The story centers on two inseparable best friends, Maggie and Abby, whose imaginative pillow-fort games suddenly take on real magic when the fort begins transporting them to extraordinary places around the world.

What starts as an ordinary afternoon of make-believe quickly becomes a globe-spanning adventure, as the girls travel through wondrous, far-flung destinations and discover what it truly means to grow up without growing apart. The film pairs heartfelt storytelling with the kind of vibrant, imaginative animation designed to delight younger audiences while resonating with the whole family.

The feature is produced by Crayola Studios, Alceon Entertainment Partners, Eclectik Vision, MIMO Studios and Like A Photon Creative, with MIMO’s Cyma Zarghami and Madeira Ginley producing. The project reunites many of the creative and production partners behind MIMO Studios’ theatrical animated feature The Pout-Pout Fish.

For MIMO Studios, The Neverending Pillow Fort marks another step in the company’s growing slate of premium animated family content built around beloved characters and stories. With its star-studded voice cast and a universal theme of friendship and imagination, the film is shaping up to be a standout addition to the studio’s lineup as it moves toward release.
